My Nokia 6300 will only allow me access to my memory card if I turn off the phone, remove then replace the memory card, then turn the phone back on again. I will then have access to my memory card for approx 10 mins before it dissapears from my Gallery. Any Ideas why this might be? I have had the phone for 10 months and it has always been like this, I have tried other memory cards but the same thing happens! Cheers
If your memory card is not working properly, back up any data from your device's memory card to your PC, then format the memory card using your Nokia device. Please refer to your device's user guide for information on formatting the memory card.
If you get an error message during the formatting process, or an error message after formatting stating that your device cannot read the memory card volume, please take the memory card to your nearest Nokia service point.
Warning: Formatting your memory card will permanently erase all data stored on the memory card. Please back up all data stored on your memory card before formatting.
Important: The memory card inside your Nokia device should ONLY be formatted using your Nokia device. Do not attempt to format your memory card on another device such as a PC, otherwise your memory card may not work properly.

I've got my 6300 for quit sometime now and it start to shows problem about a month ago it just suddenly not detect the memory card I actually need to restart the phone to detect it again. So I was thinking it was the firmware that has a problem so I look for upgrade and now I upgrade its firmware to the latest version the 06.01 at first it shows that it solve the problem the memory card is not missing anymore but after a week of using it it comes back again it wont detect the memory card again but now it's for good even if I restart it nothing happens it wont detect the memory card anymore. So now how can I fix it?
