I wanted to install an application on my nokia N73. when i attempt to install it first displays security alert as "security warning" when i press contiue button ..it starts installing after that it says unable to install. i tried it many times also i deleted the anti virus and also changed my phone time to 2007 (when phone was purchased)....still problem persists whenever i try. Please help me out as i'm unable to install any application.

1. Switch your n73
2. Now "press and hold" the three buttons(call, *,3)
3. Switch on your phone by holding the 3 switches.

Log > Call duration

To set the display of the call timers while a call is active,
select Applications > Log > Options > Settings > Show
call duration > Yes or No.

check if ur battery has swollen...this happens due to repetive over charging...d capacitors burn out...if tats d case...replace ur battery immediately..since d old 1 has chances of bursting...

if thats not d case thn try another battery,,,prob persists thn itz a s/w error goto a nokia care...they'll do it 4 free

hi, Try this easy way dial *#7370# after that it will ask for security code dial 12345 it's by default! or or hold down the following 3 buttons when you first switch the handset on:
[Green, pick up call] + [3, def] + [*+]

Be warned this will delete all information on the handset and return the handset to a 'fresh out of the box' state. All contacts, installed applications, calender entries etc will be lost. thank you for fixya,rate my answer

Try to hard reset ur phone if the problem persist then it might be a hardware problem.
Back up your data on your phone.

Here’s how to hard reset or format your Nokia N73 mobile phone:
1) Switch off your phone
2) Press and hold these 3 keys together:
-green dial key
-the star key(*)
-the number 3 key (Ugh, I wish I had three hands…!!)
3) Power on the phone
Warning: Do not release the keys until you see the hand animation is displayed.

selecting a theme and pressing C should work fine...
If not, try by going to Menu > Tools > App. Manager.
Your themes are listed as are your installed applications. You should be able to delete them there

did u try the master code ..if no give me your imei no. i will give u ur mastercode if the code is not working then no other option than formattin ur phone...

this should do the trick...press star, call button(the green one), three, and power button all together while powering up your phone..
