If no driver is available try using the older OS software in Compatibility Mode
Right click on the webcam icon on your desktop or the webcam file from 'All Programs' - select 'Properties'
Select the 'Compatibility' tab
Select 'Compatibility Mode'
Use the dropbox to show the OS
Click OK
Restart your computer

Go to Start - Programs - Microsoft Update and run windows update. It should detect your webcam and select the check box to install the updated driver. This should fix your problem....

You may want to download the driver from the Creative support site. Just go to support.creative.com. Select your product, in this case it's the VF-0040 then select the driver that is compatible with your webcam.
