Nokia n73 phone memory problem

Try deleting some data eg. Pictures, Music etc...
Most slow down is caused by lack of Memory!

Hi the best way of freeing up some memory is to go through your phone and delete the following
messages inbox
messages sent
messages draft
then go and delete any pictures you dont want.
what fills the memory up fast is having loads of music or ringtones stored on the phone so to free up some memory here delete all pictures you dont need or transfer them to your pc, then go through all the ringtones you dont use like the ones you got for free with the phone, most people delete all these as they use their own music as ringtones and never the ones they got for free with the phone so deleting these will free up loads of memory.

hopefully after doing all that you should have loads of free memory

you should delete maybe some pictures of music or transfer to memory card if you have one to free up space until then you might have this problem because the phone uses memory to store msg and call records.

it may be you have pictures on the phone memory and not the memory card this will slow the phone down and not allow any text to come in. take the memory card out then check the media folder for music videos or pictures if there is any there then delete them or move them on to the memory card to free up the phones memory. You can also check the memory by going to file manager options memory details

i have that kind of problem on my n73, it alway flashes memory full and i cannot recieve any sms, i formated my n73 using the dialkey*3 procedure and after reformating it cleared my phone memory, of courese u have to back up all important data, formating your phone will erase everything.

u can do dat by typing in *#7370# on ur N73 Music Edition but hey dont forget to back up all ur data in the phone memory like CONTACTS,USER SETTINGS,MESSAGES AND THEMES DAT UVE INSTALLED in the PHONE memory.nothing will happen to ur memory card.u can back up ur data by using the pc suite with cable (thru bluetooth it will take lotta time) by entering this code ull be doing a HARD RESET of ur fone i.e back to factory settings.it'll ask u the confirmation and after that the fone will restart automatically and will ask u to set date time etc like u did when u purchased it.after that u can restore all ur data that u backed up using PC Suite.ive done dis a lotta times so its safe and gud.BUT DONT FORMAT UR MEMORY CARD EVER CUZ IT CONTAINS SOME FILES THAT U CANT RESTORE EVER.

nthing to worry change ur message setting ,put memory card memory as memory in use. after cahnging tht u cn easily save ur files to ur memory card

try this. this helps me..
turn off your n73 phone. turn it on. while your mobile is booting, hold
3 + * and the green call key at your left soft key until it ask your location.. select your location and BAM! your phone is new again and 44mb is back.
note: before doing this back up your files to your memory card and remove it removed it from your phone. =) This is SAFE!
