Hi, I have the env3. Yesterday, I woke up, started texting, and all was fine. Up until around 1pm. Then it just randomly shut off. And I've gotten used to that, considering this phone does it ALL the time. But when I turned it on, it stayed on for about 15 seconds, then restarted itself. Then once it restarted, it would last about another 15 seconds. And then one time, before powering back up, a white screen came on and read "Using Genuine Battery Power" and had a 10 second count down. Is there anyway I can get it to stop powering off every 15 seconds?

Such problems occur when your message center number has been tampered with. Call your service provider to get the message center number go to message settings and check the message center in use input the correct center number and your problem is solved. Hope this solution has been helpful to you?

its very simple to fix
call the customer service of your service provider ( AT&T,Vodafone,Verizon etc)....they will set up message center number on your phone ...and send you sim updates ....and then you will get the text message options

We called are provider yesterday. Apparently it is a software issue and it just needed an upgrade, they told us all our env3 would eventually do this. We took all the phones in and had the software updated and they are working fine now.
Try this,
power off the phone
wait 15-20 seconds
power the phone back on
goto menu->net
after the browser bage loads (or you get an error) press and hold the menu key.
Select advanced then select restart browser.
If thisdoes not work then call sprint (nextel) they will be able to help further,
