Fabric on hood and stroller seat faded from sun--new covers??

How can I get replacement covers for the hood and seat of my Inglesina Pram. The navy is faded from the sun. The bassinette is still the same dark navy so the faded hood doesn't look good with it. I have called Inglesina twice and have not yet gotten a response. I also e-mailed them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure you called Inglesina USA. They had sent me replacement parts, i.e. seat cover ripped by the airline company during our travel. The customer service is the best. The number is INGLESINA, USA INC.

    I emailed inglesina and they were very helpful, however not good news they stopped making the replacement parts for my stroller. So I am back to square one. I am hoping that the frame is the same and I can use replacements for the classica instead of what they believe from the pics I sent is a sofia. I cant tell the difference from some of them they look alike. I have the same problem the hood and sides of stroller have faded.

It is not possible to purchase a Quinny Zapp by building it from spare parts that are available from Dorel.

The chassis is not considered a spare part item so this is not available to purchase.

In addition to the chassis you would need wheels, seat fabric, sun canopy and harness pads. In addition you may wish to order shopping basket, raincover, parasol clip, parasol, footmuff and adaptors to use the chassis with Maxi Cosi carseat.

Yes, the same hood is used for both the carrycot and the pushchair seat, the hood's bayonet clips being inserted into the relevant slots. Instructions for chassis and seat unit can be requested at [email protected]
Remember, though, that "Adventure" is actually a fabric range as opposed to a model type!

Phill and Ted pram hood hard to put back in place
Hi,
I have the same problem with a Phil and Ted's Sport - but I believe I have the solution as below. This is taken straight from the Instruction Manual which you can view at: http://www.arango-design.com/Phil-Teds-Sport-Buggy-p/7890-0001.htm - towards bottom of page is a link to the instruction manual - which I was unable to get on the Phil and Teds website. Got this today but haven't tried it yet. Hope this helps.
Really becomes clear when you see the pictures in the instruction manual.

The sport hood is packed disconnected.
To reconnect:
1. Locate sun hood and hold it facing down, as shown ‘a’.
2. Insert crimped wire ends into frame, through eyelets, ‘b’.
3. Lay hood back (to top of buggy).
4. Locate red coloured pocket at top of fabric seat and insert rear hood wires into each side, ‘c’ and ‘d’.
5.Open hood and attach domes, at bottom of hood, to main seat, ‘e’.
6. Pull eyelet at top of hood over pegs on each side of frame, ‘f’
Note that the windows in the hood are lined with a sun mesh of
a lower shade factor than buggy fabric. Always use sun cream
and clothing for protection of children in direct sunlight.
