Install the win/tv board

First make sure that your pc meets the minimum requirements for installing Win7. During the install, Windows will install most of the drivers that you need. I would see what kind of network adapter you have and download the drivers for it separately on a CD or flash drive. This will ensure that you can connect to the net after the install, which will allow you to obtain whatever other drivers you may need. Good luck. A Win7 install is actually pretty simple.

go to the bios setup and look for the startup devices option and select usb then restart your notebook with the usd dc drive with the win xp disc

try to update your audio driver

keep the laptop, hope it got a working cd-rom/dvd-drive !(if not, take-out /replace the harddisk)
-win xp has to be removed from harddisk,
the hd must be formatted so you got a blank hd to set up your new system

you'll need :
- antoher PC with internet connection and cd/dvd-burner
- a win98 installation cd or bootable savecopy of it,
- a new win-xp install cd plus cd-key
- a program called PC Wizard(download)
and a bit of time...(one night or two:-)

follow instructions:

if you can enter bios (press F1 or F2 or Del)
during booting), youre lucky...

enter bios while booting, in the menu look for boot otions or devices, change order of boot devices, so that cd/dvd-drive is 1st, then save and exit (F10)
insert win98-CD, boot from cd, try to setup win98, you'll be asked to erase/ format all data/installations/partitions
on the harddisk (drive c:,probably), do so, format the drive using the FAT32-file system,
then end installation without fully setting up win 98.
now you should have a blank disk witout any operation system on it.

now put in win xp cd, go through the whole installation process
install and run pc wizard(it'll tell you all hardware devices of the laptop)
get the proper drivers for the notebook for win-xp from the net(google might be helpful)
install them.

if all this did not work, remove the harddisk,(you'll have to unscrew a lot of the laptop)
replace it by a new s-ata ide-drive()and..
erh.. come again then, this is a long process as well

Few tips for you buddy 1. Get Winpatrol its free remove useless programs from startup and delayed startups. 2. When your pc is login in and desktop just popping up press control alt del and go to process right click on explorer and click end process tree then click on first tab and wait for 1 minute. Click new task type explorer in popup and ok. Now check your pc speed. 3. Get avg 8.5 obviously free its effective. 4. go to search type *.tmp and search for the whole computer including hidden and system folder when it is finished simply select all files by control A and press shift plus delete. 5. Defragment your pc. 6. Remove whatever useless programs you have specially norton if you are having. 7. Dont forget to vote me you will fall in love with your pc once again after doing these.

i have msi mother board,amd athlon 64 bit processor,sata hdd 120GB,

the driver for the lan card most come with it if the card is new. driver should be in floppy disc cd rom if you have either of the two **** it the drive and intall the lan card driver. After runing the installation disc is gonna be ok.

if the driver of win tv nova ver3.4e have its driver cd with windows vista setup compatible?

you can installing a new intel or corresponding video driver...and changing the screen resolution

The new hardware wizard in XP will allow unsigned drivers to be installed if you click "allow" when you feed it the driver.

It should say "Continue Anyway".

Failing this, you could try to go to the card manufacturer's website and look for a WHQL (Windows hardware quality labs) certified driver and use that instead.

As for the Rosewill, you might have to run a setup.exe to install it if the driver hasn't been provided on its own. (should be an .inf file with some dll's etc)
