I assume you are using a pre paid sim card. It would be better to call the customer care of your service provider(voda phone) and then you have to apply for their gprs tariffs.

I am using karbonn k1616, with vodafone sim but GPRS setting is not confirmed by the vodafone customer care after sending IMEI setting please advice me
To activate GPRS in your mobile, first you need to get GPRS setting from vodafone. You can get those setting either by calling customer care or send SMS by writing 'GPRS' and send to customer care number. When you will get GPRS setting save them as default stetting. After few hours you are able to access GPRS on your Phone.

- Prepaid customers: SMS ACT VL to 144 (toll free)

For this you have to contact your service provider.
FOr example if you are using vodafone then you just contact any vodafone dealer or call customercare asking for this.They will send you the setting so u'll have to save it n set as default settings when askd.Now you are having the interne connection.Also u might need the pin number for saving the settings.Default pin is 1234 or 0000.If you are not sure which pin number to use ask cuctomer care for your pin num,ber as it will depend on your simcard n not your phone.
hi jigo123p, Vodafone will not be able to send you the setting via sms. You will have to call 111 or 9825098250 and ask them to tell you the settings and you will have to enetr them manually on your phone,
On your phone go to start> settings> connections> connections> add a new modem connection> Name = Vodafone gprs> modem type = Cellular line (gprs)> Next> Now enter the settings that vodafone customer care people gave you, manually
