Highest 13 keys on top and on bottom boards do not function

I have a Wurlitzer Omni 3000 Keyboard computer (organ) and the top 13 keys on top and bottom boards don't work, but everything else does. Again this the Very Highest C note to the next lowest C... Is there a fuze or loose connection that I could check out? I have the back of it off and have been looking for burnt fuses or a disconnected clip, but with no luck. Thanks, Mike

Those notes are likely scanned along with all the others. The strobe selection lines for those are likely failed... this might be only two wires.

IF you have ribbon style cables in the unit, this is often caused when people pull the cables by the edges to remove from connectors.

Look for this and a connector that might have one end lifted where a couple wires aren't quite connecting. THIS IS not ANY ISSUE OF FUSES.

I believe organ hasn't been played or even turned on in over 10 years. The top keyboard plays if I turn on a setting such as piano or trumpet however I can't just get the organ keys to play.

Since the organ has not been used for a long time, I suspect that there can be degradation of the electronics, specially with electrolytic capacitors. hence I request you to switch on the Organ continuously and allow it to warm up, it there is improvement , then it will be worth to remove the bottom panel and clean up the boards, dry the PCB with a hair dryer and reconnect the boards.
Hope this will help.

Hey, I had the same problem. You just have to off the Keyboard (by pressing the standby/on button).

Now hold the last key / highest key.
Keep holding it
And
On the keyboard while holding it.

Problem will be solved.

The top keyboard of 3 keyboards work, but not the middle and bottom one. There is a distort sound on speaker if you press one of the keys on middle and bottom one. What can be the problem Please ....

I haven't actually got the means to trace out diagrams on this particular model but I did find you a service manual if you have the technical skills to fix it.

I have a Casio WK3500 keyboard. How can I reproduce the sound of a Wurlitzer organ?

Try voice 9 in the bank 96. That is for a theater organ type sound. You would need decent sound system to amplify this and to sound anywhere near decent.

Wurlitzer organ, highest key plays note one octave too low.

If this is the kind of organ with the wire sticking out of the key that makes contact with the bus bar to create the note you will have to make sure that key is operating the same as adjacent keys. The busbars have to be clean and the contact wires have to be clean. Sometimes when cleaning the wires they will spring out of place and not make contact with the appropriate bus bars. Check that key against the rest and see what you find. Hope this helps.
