How to omprove the signal?

Before buying anything, back up your S3 data using Samsung Kies. Then do a factory reset.. followed by a data restore..
firmware updates can cause problems until the handset is reset, as parts of the previous firmware are still in use..
You should notice an improvement after this... mine went from half a day, to almost 2 days usage, just by doing this after a firmware update.

Your phone might have software or hardware problem , U can find out weather it is software problem by connecting it to a PC trying to flash it ( software installtion .
2, pls check the Bat state if is it having voltage 1, is it charging , using your Multimeter measure voltage from bat contact for 3.6 volts if nothing the phone has hardware problem eg Eprom chip , power IC is damaged.

There are two (2) different Compaq Presario 2100, 1 is an Intel based and theother is AMD based, which one do you have?

In any case if your OS is WinXP, for Intel pls try here while for an AMD. pls try here.

ya there is one way to unlock your mobile ,but you have to provide me your mobile IMEI no .which can be obtain by pressing *#-6# at the screen ,it will show IMEI no of your mobile ,it will 15 digit no...just send it to me and i will definitely send you the unlock code......

If it still doesn't work.
Call service provider they will reset it for you.

You need to get it to a cell phone repairing service.
