Unfortunately not all software supplied with your machine is free for life. Your operating system is, probably Windows. The other software may be just available for say one year and then you will have to get an update and pay for the use of the of the software. Roxio Creator V9 is probably one of these. Click on the "Expires" window. It will probably take you to the Roxio site and tell you that your software has expired and you will have to pay if yuo wish to continue to use it.
i Think you do not have vista compatible softwares i.e.
Roxio Easy Media Creator 10 Suite . So please buy vista compatible software or path with vista patcher . You can easily download vista patch from www.rapidlibrary.com . Patch and run the software in vista. Best of Luck.
Burned CDs always show as being fully used. That is so users don't think they can just copy files onto it. The way to find out how much free space is to subtract the amt. of space used from the capacity of the CD. Also most CDs are burn-once so after you burn it you can't add or delete files anyway. Only CD or DVD "RW" (read-write) discs allow you to re-use them.
The "burn image" option you are getting into is for burning full CDs of data, like a 1 to 1 copy.
You want to click on the Data Disk option. Then you can add files, or whole folders of files. You can change the default name "Volume Label" to what ever you want.
