Hi i bought a sony ericssonson w850i from carphone warhouse just b4 xmas. it worked fine for a while up until 2 days ago it kept switching itself off then id turn it back on it wud vibrate show the loading screen then switch off :S now my phone is on + im getting texts etc but the screen is total black cant even read my texts or anything:( cant fd receipt to take back to refund or repair... any ideas ?

The best thing to do is to take the battery out leave it to dry and your phone do not try to charge the phone for a few days that should solve the problem. if not the water has gone into the liguid lcd screen.and the lcd screen need to be replace.
yes it is ...what they should do if they reflash the firmware and it still does the samething what you will have to do is get them to exchange the phone for you.
