Mmc my phone does not show memory card,but i have another mmc card hich shows same result,please tell me a solution of it.in my phone before this event four day's ago it shows a message'removeing memory card close all applications' but iam not open the phones back or removig memory card. hi there! i had the same problem with this nokia 3230... when my battery got empty, i took out my memory card. but when i put it back in the memory card slot and open my phone... all my applications are gone... i did go to check my memory card but my phone says no memory card inserted even if it has a memory card in it... i just thought that it was a memory card problem, but wen i inserted my memory card on my freends cellphone, their phone reads my memory card. and vice versa, i borrowed a memory card on my 2 friends and inserted it in my phone, i had the same result (no memory card inserted)... can u help me with this??? thnx!

That's a common problem with MMC's... here something that might help:

Use a pencil and erase the contacts of the MMc card, this will reveal the shine on the contacts. Try replugging it again.

I sincerely hope this would work out in your condition,

first connect your memory card to a card reader and check wehther it is recognising...if no,sorry to tell you this, your memory card is currupted. formating is the only one way to get bak your memory card...hope this will helps you...thank you...

make sure you formatted it to fat32,then put back in the phone(without the music yet)back up phone to the mmc card.. when you have done that find the music folder on the mmc card and put your songs in there.

Kindly try the following as a fix for your problem:

Attach it to a memory card reader linked to your PC, then search the root files and look for a file called mmc. when you find the file it will have a symbols and lines, you need to find any sequence of letters or numbers. Copy those and paste them unto your phone as a password.

u have to reset or mobile ..to do that follow this

1. Removed your MMC card first.

2. Make sure you have at least 3/4 charge of battery before performing the

" Safe Mode, and follow-by phone reset *#7370# ". Or maybe you can have the

charger on and plugged into the phone to act as a full power source.

3. Press and hold the ABC key and then press the power button.
Remember not to release the ABC key till you seen the
"Safe Mode" standby screen.

(Fyi, there's no special indicator that telling yo're on a "Safe Mode"
standby screen.)

4. Once in the "Safe Mode" stanby screen press *#7370# to carry-out "Phone Reset"
task.

5. Once "Phone Reset" task completed and back to normal standby screen again,
switch off your phone and re-insert your MMC card.

If any error showing on the phone boot-up, please have the memory card formatted and by next phone
start-up you will not have the error msg again.

If you some important data or programs files on your MMC card, please use
a card reader to have them copied onto a pc before performing memory card
formatting

the bestb thing to do is formatt your unit, and the MMC'

after you have formatted the MMC in you phone,
set you massage in setting>other>select MEMORY in USE' put in MMC in use. so all uyour massage will directly save in MMC even it has High mb/kbs...

try by restoring handset once a time or else memory card is corrupted..change it....
