What does the ac3 mean at the end of the code on the shoprider rascal controller unit

Check to be sure the motor engagement levers are not in the push/disengaged position. If you can push it around then they need to be returned to the drive/engaged position. This should clear your problem.

How fast dose the Electric Mobility Rascal 388xl Mobility Scooter PAT.NO.4798255 go? i just can't find the mph on it

Remove the axle and drop off the tire. Tools needed are a 5mm and 6 mm Allen wrench

Hi , when you say shut off, you mean like it been turned off ? if so check the connector going into the controller , the issue could be with the controller connect, not the joystick end if it's been replaced...

The sequence of beeps are for recognising the fault.A scooter repair shop given this info,will tell you what is required to get you running again.Note,you will be lucky if a repar shop will look at it if you have attempted to fix it yourself & Shoprider unless i am wrong,do not sell to the the public.

Good day to you.These series or blinks or bleeps are codes to determine the fault.& the trouble you will find is Shoprider etc will not give out info to the public.Contacting a Scooter repair shop is a good idea,reason being.They can order your part if needed.You can also download:SHOPRIDER SERVICE MANUAL 2007 1-800-743-0772 as a PDF File,if you do anything yourself.Remember a repair shop will be hesitant to even look at it & I suggest you take a photo of every step if fixing yourself with your mobile.Have a nice day,hope I was of help.Colin
