Push to talk..

My push to talk is already on..but everytime i use it it says .."packet data access point not valid.."
waht must i do??

You had get the incomplete or wrong PTT or GPRS settings.
as u know, Push to Talk uses GPRS so if the GPRS settings are wrong PTT cant be accesed. I had the same problem also

Packet data setting problems

1. Go to Menu.
2. Then go to Settings.
3. Go to connectivity.
4. Press Packet Data option.
5. Go to Packet Data Settings.
6. Choose a valid Access Point according to your mobile service provider.
( Before above steps ; please make sure that you have valid GPRS / EDGE settings.

How to open the packet data?

Hi keich...
To open packet data Goto
Menu>Web>Browser or Goto Address
Enter address>ok

If it gives any error
Try the following

*First contact your network operators customer care check whether internet service of your number active or not If it's already active request them to send internet settings save and activate these settings
if problem persists Restore factory settings by Menu>Settings>Restore Factory Settings>(Default Security Cide will be 12345)
Then also problem persists contact your network operators customer care ask the accesses point name(you can create a internet setting manually by Menu>Settings> Configuration Settings>Personal Con Settings>Web>you can enter home page as you wish(ie:any website id) select "use pref access pt"to no>Access pt settings>Proxy to "Disable">Bearer settings>Packet data acc pt>enter the access point what they provided

In nokia 6300.....when trying to run ebuddy....and allowing network access..it says....packet data access point not valid.... what is the solution for this?

1)GO TO
MENU>SETTINGS>CONFIGURATION SETTINGS>DEFAULT ACCESS POINT>(SELECT YOUR WORKING ACCESS POINT)
2)OPEN E BUDDY AND CONNECT THROUGH DEFAULT ACCESS POINT

My phone cannot set gprs

try setting ur GPRS manually.
go to settings>connections>access points
then select options and new access point. give the name of your connection and the access point. (for eg. internet)
P.S go to connections>packet data
select packet data connection to WHEN AVAILABLE.
and leave the access point NONE.

Cannot browse the internet i should subscribe to

Hi,
Here is the procedure for subscribing to packet data:
Menu--settings--connectivity--packet data--packet data settings--edit active access point--packet data access point. Once you are at this point you will be required to type in a name for your access point: Type in "Internet" and then save your settings and exit back to standby screen.
You should now be able to browse the internet.
