Hi, That shaft fits into a sealed bearing that is riveted to the bottom of the pan. When that seal freezes there is no way to free it up. The lubrication in the sealed bearing gets hard, especially if it's not used much..You may try putting hot water in the pan and soaking it but other than that the pan will need replacement. Sorry...Hank
Hi, I usually take the paddle out of the machine at the end of the kneading cycle and before the rise cycle. (Do this with the pan out of the machine..just in case). You don't want to use anything in the pan that will scratch it. Usually a few quick taps of the bread pan on the cutting board will free the bread.
Hi, Check out ebay. They seem to be expensive....For some reason I think the manufacturers don't sell the bread pans separately so you have to buy a whole new machine.
