Oster 5821 Bread Maker: Paddle froze up, does not move

Hi,
That shaft fits into a sealed bearing that is riveted to the bottom of the pan. When that seal freezes there is no way to free it up. The lubrication in the sealed bearing gets hard, especially if it's not used much..You may try putting hot water in the pan and soaking it but other than that the pan will need replacement. Sorry...Hank

I love my bread machine, model 5890, but with every loaf of bread the kneading blade stays inside the bread. The bread is also difficult to take out of the pan. This has led to scratches in the pan as...

Hi,
I usually take the paddle out of the machine at the end of the kneading cycle and before the rise cycle. (Do this with the pan out of the machine..just in case). You don't want to use anything in the pan that will scratch it. Usually a few quick taps of the bread pan on the cutting board will free the bread.

I managed to scratch the loaf pan and am looking to buy a replacement for my Tr520 Breadman breadmaker. Not proving to be very easy. Help!

Hi,
Check out ebay. They seem to be expensive....For some reason I think the manufacturers don't sell the bread pans separately so you have to buy a whole new machine.

This would be the bread pan. I had great success in finding what I wanted for my breadmaker at http://breadmakerpartsemporium.ioffer.com/. They have manuals and parts for most breadmakers at very reasonable prices.
