When someone calls me on my cell phone it is very hard to hear them,is there way i can turn up the volume? or do i need a new phone,i have had this one for 2 1/2 yrs.

What phone do you have?
On most phones there are buttons on the side to adjust volume.
There are also options for volume in your device's settings, under sound.
If it is hard to hear someone during a call you can turn on speaker mode which will make the sound a lot louder.

press the volume up button

While taking to them, press your volume up button. While in a call that will turn up the call volume.

See if you can hear them on the earplugs/headphones, if so then your your speaker could be faulty.

Check your phone's settings or you can adjust the volume while talking to someone by pressing the up to your keypad.

You may have turned the volume down. Simply get someone to call you, the use the up and down arrows on the side of the phone to adjust the volume as they speak. This mode is only available when someone is calling you, and there is nothing about it in the manual.

best thing to do, so you don't waste your money is buy a brand new phone.it will save you trouble, headaches, time, and money

While a call is going on, pump the volume up using the volume keys on the side of the screen.

it's likely that you turned it down accidentally.

If it's already full, you need to take it to a MotoStore.

Sometimes you have to go to the menu/setting and raise the volume up from the setting menu.
