How can I use JVC AVX810 with Iphone? Currently IPOD works fine with the USB cable but IPHONE is not recognised. Maybe there is an adaptor that can solve it?

JVC KS-PD100 iPod Interface Adapter (257KSPD100, sold separately). This optional iPod Interface Adapter supports audio playback for the following iPod models - iPod click-wheel (3rd gen), iPod photo (4th gen), iPod mini (1st/2nd gen), iPod nano (1st/2nd/3rd/4th gen), iPod video (5th gen), and iPod classic (80/120/160GB). The KS-PD100 is not compatible with the iPod touch (1st/2nd/3rd gen), iPod nano (5th gen), or iPhone (2G/3G/3GS). This iPod interface will also not charge the iPod nano (4th generation). *Apple firmware updates may change functionality results.

Iphone touch screen is not working. Restored the phone from backup succesfully, but screen still doesn't work. Phone receives calls, etc., but can't unlock or answer calls because screen doesn't respond to...

Even though the iPhonemag-glass_10x10.gif is a device that is extremely convenient to have, it still can cause frustrations. Specifically, there may be times when the touch screen does not work properly.

There are various problems the iPhone touch screen could encounter. Although there are times when the screen does not work altogether, there are other situations when certain portions of the screen work and others don't. Of course, it is possible that the entire screen works, but is simply slow. Regardless of the exact problem, there are ways to troubleshoot the iPhone to diagnose the real problem.
  1. tep 1 Remove the wiping cloth that came in the small black envelope along with the iPhone. Wipe the smudges or dust off the screen with this cloth. It is best to wipe in a circular motion.
  2. Step 2 Do not put lotion on your hands and do not touch the screen if your hands are wet. Any kind of moisture can affect the way the touchscreen operates. Moisture sometimes slows the response time from the screen to the operating systemmag-glass_10x10.gif.
  3. Step 3 Check for a protective sheet on the screen. If there is some kind of a film or sheet on the touchscreen, the screen is likely not able to react to all of the sensitivities of the touch of a finger as it normally would.
  4. Step 4 If there is an application open and the touchscreen seems to not be working, simply close the application and retry it. A frozen application can usually be closed by pressing and holding on the circular button located just below the touchscreen.
  5. Step 5 Press and hold the home button as well as the reset button on the top of the phone to turn the iPhone off. A red slider will appear. Slide it to the right to turn the phone off. Press again on the "Reset" button on the top to turn the phone back on.
  6. Step 6 Completely reset the iPhone by holding the "Home" button and the "Reset" button for a full 10 seconds until the phone resets and the Apple logo appears on the phone.
    • If you are using the iPhone in cold weather and wearing gloves, the iPhone will not react to the gloves as it will to the touch of a finger.
    • If the touchscreen is dirty, do not run the iPhone under water. Doing this will likely ruin the phone, but even if it doesn't, it will possibly make the phone run slower.

Is a 2g touchscreen compatible with a first gen Iphone? Will it work if I buy the part on my 1gen phone?

Do you mean a replacement glass to put on your 1st gen iPhone? It can get a bit confusing with the 'Generation' labelling, as 2G in fact refers to 1st Generation iPhones (any prior to the 3G, hence 2G - it relates to the data connection protocol more than the hardware version).
So, with that in mind - am I correct in assuming that you have seen a 2G screen for sale?
If so then yes it will work on your 1st Gen (2G) iPhone. I haven't compared the 2G/3G screens that closely, but I do know some of the sensors are located in a slightly different position on the 3G which may in itself be an issue.
Let me know if you want me to further investigate and I'll help if I can!

Our sound dock does not charge our ipod touch 2nd gen. Bose manual says it does charge. The sound dock is not series 2. Are they not compatible? Thanks, Mark

The original SoundDock will not charge the iPod touch 2nd gen, or the iPhone 3G, or the new nano either. This is because Apple changed the way their new iPod products charge. (via USB only now)
There is 1 solution- Call Bose tech support. They can replace the 30 pin metal connector for a new one that will charge this. If this is not under warranty, it will cost $99, but it's worth it. New 1 year warranty, and compatibility with all iPods (except much older- non-clickwheel iPods)

Iphone keypad not working

First try a hard reset. Hold down the power and home button simultaneously for 10 seconds until the iPhone reboots.
If that doesn't work you need a new digitizer. If it's a 3G I would advise replacing the digitizer. If it's a 2G I would not advise replacing the digitizer b/c you would have to replace the LCD, Digitizer, and the Glass Panel and the cost would exceed $100.
You could also consider selling your iPhone AS IS for parts or repair on eBay, Craigslist, BuyMyTronics.com or I could make you an offer.
Hope this helps, Rate me please!

Inmotion speeker dock wont charge new ipod touch

This is because you are using different generations.

If the dock was only meant for 1st generation, then itwill only charge 1st generation. It's how they make their money.

My Jensen ipod docking system wont charge my i touch

The older ipods charge using 12v, the newer ones (including the Touch 2nd gen) use 5v. So a lot of docks that will charge a nano will not charge a new Touch. If a dock says it will work with the iPhone then it will work with the newer iPod Touch (2nd gen).
If you have an old dock and want to charge a new Touch (sounds like the case here) then you can get an adapter. Scosche makes one just for this.
