Need to know how to change the time when daylight savings occurs, on my Rolls Royce Silver Spirit Series ll

Without more input I'll give you two scenarios 1 the starter is showing signs of weakness and hen it gets hot it does not have the strength to spin the motor as it should. 2. The ignition timing needs adjusted, it may be advanced a bit and need retarding, especially with the low grades of fuel we are getting these days , you might try a higher grade of fuel or possibly an octane booster which you add when re-fueling.

the switch should be located on the brake pedal arm there should be a pin and or a clip to hold it on the arm you should also have a plug on the switch...hope this helps thanks

RR Silver Spirit 1988. loss of power when hot. Commensurate with heat -or time; about 1.5 hours driving, the engine loses power, exhaust popping occurs, eventually slowing to a crawl with no power and stops. Ticks over ok but will not accelerate. Replaced fuel pump and filter, and ignition module without effect. Anyone with experience of how to sure this would be much appreciated.

Hello Steve , congratulations for driving such a fancy car. I will try to help. My first guess would be to check in the area of the cruise control for vacuum leaks. There are hoses that come from your engine to the cruise control that in some way make it work. Get a piece of 1/4 inch rubber hose and use this as a listening devise , one end to your ear and use the other to listen around the the various hoses. Possibly you may find broken, collapsed, or cracked hoses in this area. Check these things first and please get back to me, GOOD LUCK.
