Phone continually vibrates when turned off

I dropped it in water and it has been working fine, I quickly got it out and dried it off. It started just vibrating, so i rebooted it and it won't come back off and still vibrates.

SOURCE: Stop the Vibrating

Sounds like the phone may have gotten wet. Check behind the battery for a white circle sticker, it will be red if the phone has gotten wet. Best of Luck.

SOURCE: dropped phone in water

My Motorola razr went through 2 cycles of washing machine! I fixed it by removing the battery first, letting it thoroughly dry out using a cold setting on a hair dryer, after opening the battery compartment, folding open the phone and even a bit of sundrying, Another gentler method of drying it is by leaving it on a
UPS system where the temperature wont exceed 45C or so. I was careful not to turn it on soon after I picked it up from the washing machine.
I have heard- but havent tried it- of people successfully using WD20 or one of those silicone sprays on electronic items to dry them out.

the only possible thing you could do yourself is to remove the screws, pull it apart and try to blow dry. That's the only thing you can personally do.

The first thing that you should have done is, removed the battery and brought the phone immediately for repairs. Electronics and water dont mix.
there are options, you can replace the lcd and have your phone professionally "dried" using techinician tools.
or there is your option of replacing the phone.
just see which cost less and more practical for you.
hope this helps.

I dropped my phone yesterday in water. I took it out quickly and dried it off. It works perfectly fine now but the navigation keys' back light won't turn off. When my phone is off the lights are still on...

There is still some water, perhaps corrosion now, inside the phone.

The best thing to have done is to pull the battery off as soon as it happened, and take it to retailer so that they can get it dried out before damage occurred.

Since your phone is now damaged, your recourse likely will be to replace the phone using insurance / oops protection, or start carrying an extra battery.

My phone got wet and will not work properly.

It has lost the main program. you may be able to get the download from the manufacturers website. but if in the Ocean the salt water eats away at the circuitry.

Katana II likely water damage... Help!

Take the battery off, unfold the phone, set it in a warm, dry place and pray like heck. plugging it in may help it stay warm but leave it off.
If its minor water exposure it'll likely be fine in 2-3 days.

I dorped my cell phone

There's no cure, it's dead, sorry. Water and mobiles don't go together. Give it a worthy burial, say a few nice words and let it go gently to the heavens where mobile souls go.

Try a Nokia next. They are certainly better than LG.

LG VX6100 - Won't stop vibrating

my phone barely got wet at all but wont stop viberating either.everthing else works fine. i set it on a table to go on the computer and the viberating just stopped and i dont know why but right after that it just started viberating again. i got some tips from some other people that didnt work 4 me but it might work 4 u. u could try doing a master reset which just taking out the battery when the phone is on and it resets or u can try blowing on the battery in case it somehow got some dust on it.
