The only way to change to a different tower is to change phone AT&T carrier to Verizon carrier. The unlock code is your password. There is no unlock code to change towers. You have to cancel service at AT&T and start service at Verizon.

Getting signal

Unlocked refers to removing software that keeps a phon e"locked" to a specific service provider. Sounds like the phone you have is on a carrier that has poor coverage in your area. I would suggest contacting the provider of your phone to see if they can either 1) update the phones info so it can access other towers (for example - just because it is on Verizon doesn't Mena it is programmed to access all towers as towers are used by contract and towers are often updated) 2) provide you with a phone that is on a different carrier that has better coverage in your area.

Samsung galaxy s6 g-sm920v imei repair

Samsung Galaxy s6 GSM 920v: IMEI Blacklisted Verizon:

Hello. You can't do anything about the IMEI being Blacklisted from Verizon. That phone is deemed stolen. You bought stolen goods

You could report the Seller to your local police to tell them that you were tricked into buying stolen property.

The only thing you can do with this phone is use it with another cellular provider SIM card. Most Verizon Samsung Galaxy Android phones are already Factory unlocked. You won't be able to get perfect reception on other carriers but you can use it with AT&T or T-Mobile's SIM cards. No Verizon or Sprint though.

The phone doesnt pick up on towers when traveling. Can I change towers used for this phone?

The choice of tower is all automatic. You get the closest tower in your network. Your network may not have many towers....

Tracfone payasyougo

i dont think so because straight talk has there own company. thats why walmart is the only one who sells their refill cards. that's like since they use verizon towers you can take a straight talk phone and change it to a verizon service but you cant take a verizon phone and change it to straight talk.

I have a Smasung SGH-T749 Locked to T-Mobile. I would like to cahnge carriers to Verizon. I need to unlock this phone I have tried various codes but no luck. Please Help.

you can not. T-Mobile uses GSM technology and SIM cards (the type of cell tower it connects to), and Verizon uses CDMA technology (no SIM, different type of tower). To get the unlock code i will suggest the website Unlock-Zone.com which is doing good service .....you can approach this website.

How do i unlock my verizon phone?

you can not. Verizon uses CDMA technology (no SIM, different type of tower) which cannot be unlocked by codes. They can done by flashing. If you are able to unlock you can only be able to use it with other CDMA network in the world.

For the LG Voyager the phone keeps shutting itself off and everytime I open a window such as a messaging screen on the front touch screen it will close it and then turn off.

there could be a number of problems with your phone. what i think will fix that is if you hit *228 option 1. it will do a PRL update. im not sure where your from but with verizon converting alltel towers, it is making the phones act a little goofy when trying to connect to a tower. either that or it coudl be something major with your board. try the PRL update if that does not work, then its something physically you need to change with your phone
