Tip & How-To about Computers & Internet

Reduce time waiting on your work pc starting...

Having used this through out Windows XP, I'm not sure how much effect it will have on Windows 7 and newer Operating Systems.

When you leave the office or where you might work, then RESTART your PC.
The next day, it will be rebooted and ready for you to login right away.
I will point out that the PC do use power through the night. However, most PC's actually hibernate/sleep after about an hour, thereby using a minimum of power.
Larger companies, will even install updates on the PC during the night.
Your PC will be restarted regularly - GOOD :)

i need a windows 95 security

My friend, Security for Windows 95 at the very best will be at least 10 years out of date and will offer you little to no protection.

I do not know where you are located and please don't say nor do I know your financial condition and again, please don't say. Obvioiusly you have WWW access and a computer, you are able to connect and operate at some level.

Since Windows 95, we have had Windows 98, 98 Second Edition, Millenium Edition, and XP, not to mention Vista and Windows 7 after that (current and to be eclipsed sometime next year)

Please consider obtaining a newer computer equipped with XP or newer operating system. If you lived down the street, I would give you several XP computers if you would just take them away. But you aren't so I am stuck with them. You may find very low cost or free XP or newer computers in your area if you take a look around.

Good luck to you and thank you for using FixYa.com

Can windows XP be install on HP Pavilion dv7-1132nr with Vista OS

Yes, You can dual boot Windows XP and Vista but you'll be having problem finding drivers if you install Windows XP on this computer since Windows XP supported drivers aren't available on Hp download page. HP has only Windows Vista and Windows 7 drivers for this System.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck.

WHAT IS BEST OPERATING SYSTEM FOR USING IN INTEL ATOM PROCESSOR WITH 1GB RAM & 1.66GHZ?

If you are looking for microsoft products then I would say XP would be your best bet. I wouldn't have thought the newer ms operating systems would be great although Windows 7 should run on that hardware, you wont get aero effects and it may be a little slow.

windows 7 revert back to Win XP

I think that what's important is license key of your Win XP, the installer for Win XP can be downloaded from any download site now a days. If you have a friend or know someone who has the Win XP installer, you can barrow it from them or have it copied on another disc. Then use the license key that you have from your previous operating system (Win XP).

You must also make sure that the installer that you will be using is the same version that you used to have before installing Win 7. I hope this one helped in a way.
