Hello I have a problem with my monitor. I have a Medion MD 7317 model. i cannot acess any higher resolution then 800 x 600. The display shows default monitor. In advanced settings it again says monitor type : default monitor and i cannot click the properties tab. please help me i dont know what to do. thank you and plese answer me ASAP and at [email protected] .

The fault sounds like a invert problem, the inverter supplies high voltage to the CCFL lamp which provides the backlight or a faulty CCFL lamp. If you see a dim image when you look at the LCD screen at a sharp angle then this confirms this diagnostics.
