Installing yahoo messenger incorrect command line parameters

Yahoo messenger 10 is not compatible with windows 2000

Download messanger again and try installing again. It may have gotten corrupted in the download. If it still doesn't work then you have a problem with your operating system and may have to re-install it.

All you need to do is install the latest version of MS Installer. You can find it on microsoft.com. also run the Windows Updater.
This error you are getting is caused by he Windows Installer, not by Yahoo itself.

delete and downloads latest version of ym

Download Java update and as well as adove flash player...try install yahoo messenger 8.1 , it works fine....you can find it in www.filehippo.com ... Best of luck.

DO you have administrative privileges on your account? If not get them. You also might have installed a conflicting software that is conflicting with yahho messenger.

I think ur .msi file has been courrepted.
u've to reinstall this file for this file go to this link:

We need to uninstoll it then reinstall it.

1.- clck START
2.- click SETTINGS
3.- click CONTROL PANEL
4.- select ADD IREMOVE
5.- LOOK FOR MESSENGER 9
6.- SELECT REMOVE
it may ask you if you sure say YES
when is all gone.
RESTART your computer and go to msn.com try to install it again be patient don't open any windows or games it will take few min but will be better.

Try to update windowsinstaller. Search for WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86 at www.microsoft.com site. Install it before installing YM 9.
