Removing carborator how to remove carbeurator

MAKE SURE THE CARB BASE GASKET IS IN PLACE AND IN GOOD SHAPE

your carb. is gummed up. Get some carbeurator cleaner spray and spray it into the air intake as it is running until it clears up. if it wont clear up, you will have to have the carb rebuilt.

Disconnect fuel line from the tank, careful not to tear it. Their will be a rubber boot on each end, (to the cylinder and to the air box) loosen the clamp around these. The cables to the throttle need to be removed at the carburator end or the hand throttle end. You may need to remove the seat and gas tank for this to make it easier. The vent lines can stay with the carb, just note where they go! The carb should slide out from between the rubber boots. Just take care with it.

If you havn't replaced the spark plug and the air filter in a while do those things also, and use freshly purchased gas, not gas that has been sitting around for months.

The problem you are having is due to dirt and gunk in the carbeurator. Spray a carbeurator cleaner into the air chamber [remove the air filter] and run it a couple of times then let it sit for two hours while the carbeurator cleaner does its job of dissolving any debris. Then start it up. IF this does it, great, if not repeat the cleaning technique.
