Apple will recognize a FAT 32 format. Connect the drive to another machine - a PC. Copy your data to this computer, format the drive to FAT32, copy your data back and it chould be accessable to the MAC system again.

Iomega Prestige 1 TB format PC?

can you try this.
Right click "my computer " the go to "Manage" and select "Disk Management"
Once there right click on the drive and delete the partition.
Then recreate th partition and let Windows format it for you.
The reason for this is that sometimes during the mass production of the drives the partition does not get created correctly and so when you try to format the drive it falls over
Hope this helps

My seagate freeagent will not power on what could be the problem?

Probably not the right answer for your problem. Mine is an external 1 TB Simple Drive. Mine wouldn't respond at all. I unplugged the power cable from the back of the hard drive and replugged it in and instantly it worked. I had tried rebooting the computer, plugging/unplugging over and over into the computer and that didn't work.

Hi im sachin want to purchase 1 tb hard disk of cgate and LCD of ither samsung or sony.... 1. will support an external USB hard drive on this lcd's ? 2.is there any other type of hard disk i need to...

I do not know if the 1 Tb external hard will work on the USB ports on the LCD TVs.
What do you want to store on the 1 Tb USB hard drive and display on the LCD TVs?
Most LCD TVs can access USB memory sticks and display DVI movies (if supported by the TV), photos etc. that are stored on these USB memory sticks.
Try inserting an USB hard drive (borrow one if necessary, can be any capacity) into the USB port to see if it works before you decide to purchase a 1 Tb USB hard drive.
My suggestion would be to purchase a 1 Tb USB memory stick. This would out perform an external USB hard drive.
