Won't channel up and down, stuck in input mode

Good morning Cheri
try restarting the tv, just disconnect all electricity for 30-60 sec.
connect again. If that does not work, Try set- up on the menu, if you get the apparatus to obey you and leave the input mode.
If that does not work I always restart the router and "exchange"box,
enjoy your day

What cable do i need to connect my laptop to my Sanyo DP50740?

Hello jaygee7414,
Sanyo DP50747 not support for D sub conection (PC in).
To connect PC in, you can use DVI or HDMI input.
Some Laptops already have HDMI or DVI out put. Like HP mini, sony vaio.

Or you can use s-video input.
Thanks.

Sanyo TV 27 inch stuck on Video mode. It reached this mode by me pressing the input button on my (GE) Universal remote, not knowing it would put it in Video mode and then accidentally pressing enter to...

Universal remote alway work only the basic for the tv.Beyond that will have problems or stuck in some input or modes.Sorry i can't help u, because i don't know what is the reaction to ur tv by the universal remote, must use the universal remote again tries all the buttons like video modes or input botton.Or take the battery out like 20 mins of the universal remote to erase ur tv codes enter it again.Tries those buttons u pushes before, see if u can get out the video mode. All else fail.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote to use.

Sanyo stuck on video mode

Yippie, I figured out a solution that worked!!! I have a univeral remote from comcast, on that remote near the bottom left is a small button that says (input) tv/vcr, press that one time and whala!! the tv video screen was gone, I had to manually change the channel from the tv channel button on the unit. once I changed the channel to 3, my universal remote worked... the button is the second one from the bottom left... I was on hold with sanyo for a long time and just kept trying on my own, so good luck!!!!
