Usually this happens if the watch capacitor (same like battery with the only difference to store energy converted from light) is faulty and can't recharge itself to the needed voltage.
I would not recommend to try to do anything to the watch without aproppriate knowledge as Eco-Drive watches are quite complicated.
The best solution-- Find out your nearest watch repair shop and ask for a new capacitor replacement. Do not panic yet as this is no big deal and can be done quite quickly.
Of course, there can be something else wrong with the watch, but I hope this is capacitor as this usually is the most common with new Eco-Drives.

Hi, if you have bought the watch online, contact the through their Customer service to make the complain and an arrangement will be made on how to send the first watch back to them before the can now send you the proper watch you intend buying.
Note, this may cause you addition fee depending on the place of purchase.
If you bought it from a store, you can simply walk back there and return the watch to pick the one you intend buying....
