I need to unlock my samsung cricket phone a friend gave me this phone before going to jail therefore i have no way of unlocking it. i need a 4 diget code

the lock or unlock code is the last 4 digits of your number....

If its a service like Verizon, Cricket, they are what called CDMA phones, these does not come with SIM cards and therefor does not accept sim cards, there will be a slot, for it but it will locked. so better find another phone
