Sears lawn tractor. While mowing, ran over a small branch. Then when I turned, the mower stopped moving forward or backward. Engine runs great but won't engage to move.

After running mower for a while, than starting to mow again blades will not engage. Battery is brand new.

The branch probably got cought in the belt that runs the rearend it may have caused it to come off check the drive belt

Serviced a LT 2000 sears tractor started mowing the lawn and the rear wheels froze. Ran through the forward gears and reverse and nothing can't make the rear wheels move. Any suggestions?

sounds like transmission is gone make sure but if it wont run in any gear it is probably needs to be replaced.

Do I have a kill switch on my brand new craftsman 1000 31 riding mower ? If so where is it? An where is my starter motor and wires located at in front of mower?

There is a switch under the seat of most lawn tractor stand up the tractor should stop, or turn off the key.

I have an old Cub Cadet lawn tractor model 2155, where the PTO clutch stops working after about 15 minutes of mowing. It will re-engage after it stops, but will only mow for a couple hunder feet before it...

I have a Cub Cadet 2155 lawn tractor that mows great, purchase in 1999, however it started heating up about an hour into mowing and then I have to shut it down until cools. I have replaced the air filter & that did not work ?

Cub lt1045 while mowing pto keeps shutting off

I found that the safety switch under my seat was the problem for me. If I had to lean when going near hedges or low hanging branches, my PTO would disengage. I removed the safety on the seat and no problems since.
