Phone will not turn on with battery

I have the lg  Vx5200 and one day it would only turn only with a battery  practically dead.  I hook it up to the charger it turns on, says battery is fully charged, disconnect it  wont turn on. I have tried to different batteries

Thats what my phone does when the battery is dead. perhaps it did not charge last night. see if the phone will turn on while connected to the charger. if so, the battery is dead or defective.

it doesn't have one. Only a Groupe Spécial Mobile (GSM) phone has them. The vx5200 is a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) phone.

Sounds like a mfg. defect. I have never had a phone on Verizon system do that, or an LG but I would be curious to see if it kept on occurring once you get a generic battery from a reputable online site.
