I9B phone blocked to O2

Is the I9B blocked on O2. if so how can i get it unblocked.

    tried that doesnt work.



    i can get a signal on the bars but unable to make or receive calls.



    i have been looking up on the internet about this and the only information i can find is that all I9 have the same IMEI number and therefore are blocked by the big providers. O2, Orange, Vodafone.



    Any mor suggestions?

    try both sim slots
    apparently your supposed to use sim slot 2 and enter passcode 1122
    see if it works for you

PUKs, or personal unblocking keys, are used to unblock a mobile phone which becomes blocked. Mobile phones may become blocked when a PIN (personal identification number) is entered incorrectly on three consecutive occasions. In some instances, the phone may become blocked, which requires a PUK to unblock it, and in other instances, the SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card itself becomes blocked and again will require a PUK to unblock it. Mobile phones are also blocked when they are reported stolen and if there is an outstanding payment on the account. It is important to differentiate between unblocking phones (using a PUK) and unlocking mobile phones (using another type of code). NOTE: It is a criminal offence for anyone to attempt to unblock a mobile phone, other than the network provider who put the block on the phone. If your phone has become blocked by mistake, for example you have entered the PIN incorrectly on three consecutive occasions, then you need to contact the mobile phone network operator with your details. To explain a little more, specific to your mobile phone network, You need to go to your Service providers, web site & navigate your way to the specific PUK details for your mobile phone network operator. Usually you have to Register your phone to get a PUK code.

Hi, Welcome to FixYa.

I assumes that your mobile is sim locked, and you have to unlock it. Network provider will give unlock code if you pay them for that. Otherwise if you can wait for three years they will provide you the code.
If you want to unlock it now, then you have some web sites available which will give unlock code if you give IMEI number to them. Unlock code is generated from IMEI code.

Also you can do it in some near by mobile repairing shops. They will be having tools to unlock the mobile. It will cost you only 5$-15$

Only emergency calls

Hi I had same problem (i think) my phone said there was signal when there was not even sim inserted .i let the phone discharge inserted the sims and now i an make calls .hope this helps.

consult your service provider o2, orange, vodafone etc. This is service based and not handset.

You have to contact your service provider .

The IMEI (serial number) block on the phone, which stops it being used with a different SIM card, this may take up to 48hours to clear.

Please try to contact Customer Services of your provider. They will help to get you back and running.
