There isn't one, either take the laptop apart and remove the CMOS battery for 10 seconds or download and burn hiren 15 to a CD and use one of the CMOS password wipers.
Seems like you set up a password for BIOS. You can't get past without password.
Only option left with you is Open the CPU(Tower) and find a small flat circular battery called as "CMOS Battery" on the motherboard
All you need to is to remove the battery and then put back in
You will not be asked for password again on Setup
A method you can try if you don't have a password reset software is by removing the CMOS battery. Remove the CMOS battery then turn the computer on. The system BIOS will be reset and password will be removed. Then you can put the battery back in. Click on this link for the Gateway ML6230 Notebook PC Manual. Check page 36 for CMOS battery removal instructions.

A. By Using the Motherboard Jumper:
In most motherboards CMOS battery is soldered, which makes it difficult to remove the battery. In this case we use another method.
Almost all motherboards contain a jumper that can clear all CMOS settings along with the BIOS password. The location of this jumper varies depending upon the motherboard brand. You should read your motherboard manual to check its location. If you don't have the manual then look for the jumpers near the CMOS battery. Most of the manufacturer label the jumper as CLR, CLEAR, CLEAR CMOS, etc.
When you find the jumper, look carefully. There will be 3 pins and the jumper will be joining the center pin to either left or right pin. What you need to do, is remove the jumper and join the center pin to the opposite pin. e.g. if the jumper joins center pin to left pin, then remove it and join center pin to right pin. Now wait for a few seconds and then again remove the jumper and join the center pin to left pin.
Make sure to turn the PC off before opening the cabinet and resetting the jumper.
B. By Using Software:
I have found that BIOS/CMOS Password Recovery Tool is the most effective.: BIOS/CMOS Password Recovery Tool is a program that works instantly to remove any lost or forgotten BIOS/CMOS password. Simply boot your PC to DOS and execute the program, and get access to forgotten BIOS/CMOS passwords in just seconds
the easiest way is to remove the cmos cell that allows the bios to save the password
when u remove the cmos cell all the default settings of you laptop will come into effect hence removing the password cmos cell is located inside the laptop on the motherboard
getting it done by a tech helper is seriously recommended
Go to your friend. Download and burn this cd http://www.9down.com/Hiren-s-BootCD-9-8-Keyboard-Patch-73110/ Boot your pc from it and use BIOS / CMOS Tools from it.This is a better way
