My Nokia 6300 only rings twice maybe 3 times therefore I have to bear the cost of always ringing the person back as I can't get to it in time

Who is your carrier? the voice mail is set up via them call or web site. Your phone rings or not rings check ringer volume and ring tone and check if you always have a good signal.

No, the ring time is phone default. If you like standard ring tone and wish a longer time, just use your favorite long song as your ring default.

● Timed — to set the profile to be active until an end time. When the time set for the
profile expires, the previous profile that was not timed becomes active.
Themes
A theme contains elements for personalizing your phone.
Select Menu > Settings > Themes and from the following options:
● Select theme — Open the Themes folder, and select a theme.
● Theme downloads — Open a list of links to download more themes.
Tones
You can change the tone settings of the selected active profile.
Select Menu > Settings > Tones. You can find the same settings in the Profiles menu.

You need to changed,Your mouth piece, and you earpiece.

As for your ringer, it can be changed,but sometimes the problems always from the panel of the phone,and when it's from there, and ones is from there,it's damaged.

For your mouth piece and your earpiece it will workafter changing it.

I don't think its a good idea to back the vms cover rings to 8. The furthest I'd go is maybe 6.
Changing the VMS cover rings on a Partner system is done on either ext 10 or 11.
At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00"
next press the left hand intercom twice
the display should say system programming
enter in "#321"
the display should say VMS Cover Rings and ask for an extension number
enter the extension number you wish to change
The current ring data should be displayed
enter in new data (8 ring if you wish)
press feature "00" to logout

contact your vendor

Try changing the profile.

then press back back and activate the general mode the th red call button

Do you have an icon on the phone similar to the one that you see when your phone is in silent mode? A striked out music note code? If it is there check the incoming call alert in your profile personalization setting, it should be ringing or ascending.
