Panasonic 61lcx65 Hello, I have installed a new Lamp in my Pt-61LCX65 and reset the timer. There are Red Blue Green spots visible when the movie playing shows a light color background. I have tried adjusting the picture settings but was not able to correct this problem. Please advise. Thank you.

Get the original remote and do it.

To reset your Panasonic Lamp Time:
ø Press and hold these buttons for (at least) 5 seconds:
ø Volume Down button (on TV Panel).
ø AND ACTION Button (on remote).

As the remote gets older the ACTION button may not respond unless you press the button dead center and not at an angle.

Depending on how much you watch this set the lamp could be out again, they don't have to look blown to be blown.

The EEPROM needs to be reprogrammed. You should contact Panasonic customer care as they may fix this at no charge to you.

if you mean color spots size of a dime or so.

• easiest: it is dust in some step of the projection light path.
• hardest: the light engine could be damage

if you mean little ones as little dots (a neddle punshing) red and blue but always there:

• condition call it: pixels always on: light engine is the reason.

as you see the light engine is the main part here, IT is expensive repair. so if you can survive with those little dots do it.
IF it is dust, is good idea asking for and estimate to see if can works.

MAKE SURE LAMP DOOR IS COMPLETELY CLOSED,THATS WHY POWER LIGHT FLASHES YELLOW

hold the volume button down on the t.v. & the split button on the remote at the same time for about 8 to 10 seconds.The t.v. tech. did this with my panasonic 61lcx65. Also I had 2 fairly large red / orange & 1 blue spots on the screen which I thought were a result of the bulb being bad , but the tech. attached a device he called an eeprom jig & it reset the chip ? Now the picture is like new again.

"eprom upgrade" by Panasonic tech will solve the problem.
