Washer Worked great one day then caaaaaput NOTHING
My washer stopped working in the middle of a cycle, and so I called Splendide and talked to LAD, he of course sold me the circut board that cost over300.00 and of course that didnt fix it, then when i finally found a dealer that would work on it a year later cause Splendide has not been good about paying people I finally took it in and drove 2 hours, to get it there, they said it was the switch taht had came loose they fixed it. got it home after 2 hour drive back and switch popped and caught burned a bit, so called dealer, they ordered me another switch and charged me 221.00 plus shipping, hubby put it in today and still not fixed. I AM ANNOYED TO SAY THE LEAST. the part I bought first time was not bad what the hell is wrong with this thing. I am about to drive it to splendide and throw it thru the freakin front door.

The issue you are experiencing with your Splendide Comb-o-matic 5200 could be related to several possible causes. Here are a few things you can try:
Check the water inlet valve: Make sure the water inlet valve is working properly and is not clogged or damaged. A malfunctioning valve can cause the washer to stop during the wash cycle.
Clean the drain pump filter: A clogged drain pump filter can cause the washer to stop working during the wash cycle. Clean the filter to remove any debris that may be causing the issue.
Check the motor: A faulty motor can cause the washer to stop working properly. If you hear a humming noise but the drum is not spinning, it may be a motor issue.
Check the belt: If the belt is worn or broken, it can cause the drum to stop spinning. Check the belt to see if it needs to be replaced.
If none of these solutions work, it may be a more complex issue and you may need to contact a professional technician for further assistance.

Check the drain pump. There may be a coin, hairclip , button etc stuck in the blades of the pump. If the machine cant pump out, it wont go through the cycle.
Might be that the pump mechanism is stopped due to a foreign object (hairclip etc) Ours stopped the other day and it was just a hairclip. Working perfectly now.
It should lock on all functions. It may be a bad lock or the connection to the lock. I would call the support for that unit, Westland Sales 503-655-2563.
Remove the top - two screws in the back then slide forward
In the front right top you will see the air box and the terminals for the heater coil along with other wires and sensors. Start the washer on a dry cycle and check the voltage to the heater terminals. You will be looking for 120 AC. If voltage there but no heat the heating element is bad. If no voltage there follow the wires to the overheat switches and check the voltage on the other side of these switches (round devices with two terminals on top). If there is voltage there then the switch has tripped. Unplug the machine. Look for a spot of paint on this switch, scratch it away and you will see a small hole. Insert a strightened paper clip into this hole and push to reset the switch. Re-power and test the results.
No power to these switches probably means a bad circuit board $$$.
i have the whirlpool top loader also. Was not quiet a year old, starts running at random by itself. They sent the repair man out got lectured that it was my fault (too much soap, washer is in basement, I need to call an electrician to check the wiring). Now it drips water into the inside of the washer.
I can see it will eventually be cheaper to replace than call the repairman back.... Won't be a Whirlpool
buy a new washer and drier and nt a splendide I am sure would fix it
