I'm over in the USA for a few weeks but ive found that my nokia 6111 doesnt work very well. I cant send messages or make any calls. I have recieved a few messages and calls but not all of them. Ive been told by my network that everything should be working fine, however they advised me to manually set the phone to a US network and manually check that the phone is set to tri-band, (which it does have). The problem i have is I dont know how to go about doing either of these things on my handset. Can anyone help and/or give me instructions on how to do this?

i had just gotten my nokia 6111, the reason why i am writing this is because with my old phone i got service everywhere! In my house, at workd, coming home from work and just a random places. I live in the USA and the stores that i have gone to have never seen my phone before. How do i get my phone to have service in the places where i used to get service? It is very important that you give me directions step by step, and please explain them with every detail.

Hi - same problem here. Everything seems to be working fine but my service is terrible! I hardly get service in my house and if I cant improve it I wont be able to use my new phone! I went to the site listed but couldnt find a solution. Help Please!
