Which latest Graphic card can be supported by my Asrock P4i45GV?

The AsRock P4I45GV revision 5.0 motherboard uses an Intel 845GV motherboard chipset.
There is one AGP slot on the motherboard, used for a graphics card.

Looking down the column on the left side until we come to - 845GV, and looking across, we see under the heading Graphics that Integrated Graphics is supported. No mention of AGP support.

But AsRock has implemented it's own technology of A.G.I. at an 8x speed.
(For the Intel 845GV chipset)

Your AsRock motherboard is set up to support AGP graphics cards that use either the AGP 4X technology, or AGP 8X technology.

plug in the monitor input port onto the graphic card port which you have installed

Asrock K7VM3 mother board with AMD Athlon 2600+ processor.
The Motherboard is having a AGP slot which says to use AGP with 4X and 1.5 V
Can someone suggest the market products available
when I contact the technical team of Asrock. they responded as below:
The AGP slot on K7VM3 is the standard AGP x8 slot , as long as the VGA card you want to buy is standard AGP VGA card , K7VM3 can support the standard AGP VGA card.
Or , you can double check your question with your VGA card vender before you buy it .

Your new card maybe faulty or you might need a larger Power Supply Unit (PSU),, if its just started to happen...

Actually, one thing. Intel motherboards, like your Wolfdale is an Intel board, they don't work with AMD graphics cards. I've seen this arise many times, the graphics card is AMD and your MOBO/CPU is Intel... that's a red flag in my book automatically. Take it back and try an Intel Graphics card.

It simple problem friend. since your motherboard is p4 and it has an avp slot not pci e.You buy AGP graphic card having a higher memory 256 or 512 mb and 128 or 256 bit. so that you will get the the best performance on that p4 board. i suggest to get higher ram and bigger hard disk space and a sound card for maximum performance.Good luck..

go to your bios setting > chipset feature > onchip AGP.
you can increase your Graphic card from ther if it is on bourd.

Hi sandesh8, did you know you can increase the memory size of the onboard AGP card above the 64MB? Page 26 in you're manual. If you install another AGP card into the opened AGP slot, please go to this site & only use the recomended AGP cards in the Asrock list. This is one of very few video cards found on the list with 256MB of video memory.
