Basketballs are made of mostly rubber with a fiber layer wrapped around them for protection. It depends on which league you are referring to but this is the standard.

We got the top pole back to front..how to separate the poles ?

As silly and bizarre as this may sound... just take the pole and raise it to shoulder height and throw onto the grass at an angle. It may take a few attempts but the pole WILL come apart. I know you think I'm crazy ...but it does work. It's almost like a Chinese finger trap.

This is my first year as a basketball coach and I don't know how long I should make each drill last. Any ideas?

It is important to keep your practices fast paced. By doing each drill for no more than five minutes, you allow each player to maintain a high energy level without getting tired of the specific exercise.
