How do you remove/change the answer phone message

As for some reason we are not able to play back messages to our VS2000 NTL we want to remove or change the message. Unfortunately we have lost the manual so can anyone help?

Press the "clear / mute" button

[screen shows TAD ON]

press 2

while message is playing press 0

I have a vs2000, it is showing i have messages constantly and the envelope icon is permanantly on screen, when i check fornew messages there are non, how do i disable the answering machine and get rid of...
hi, to remove the envelope, you will need to delete some messages from your inbox..it is showing because your inbox is full..

Press the clear/mute button tad on will appear then just press the number 2 which has play written underneath your messages will then play.

DONT KNOW HOW TO GET MY MESSAGES
Press clear/mute to show TAD on
Press 2 to play any messages and delete any using 0.
Press 8 to switch the answer machine on.
Then clear/mute to return to home screen.
