Geely moped my daughter has a gelly 50 cc and the other day dhe was riding along when it started juddering then after a week of this she was riding along when it just cut out so she left it for a 5 mins and started it again so she rode it home only going 10 miles an hour couls some one tell me what the problem could be thanks

My boyfriend got a geely scooter 125 i think it is and he had exactly same problem, tappits need set to 0.5 and try cleaning the air filter only problem he got now is his indicaters are totalled and the geely site is closed down :(

get a bigger machine ... The so called 50 cc motor bike is a regulation beater with typically 49 cc. If you need more speed and power, get a bigger machine. Typically, they are at 49 cc so the younger crowd can ride at a certain age.

speedometer is not registering more than 20 miles per hour was woking fine then when for ride n it seemed to not be registering right.

Moped cuts out when open throttle

its one of four problems,.. not enough or excessive fuel or air. Or the filter is holding back the gas when on demand.

I am wondering if i need an drivers lisence to ride my dirt rocket mx 500

im not certain of the laws in your area but as with indiana and most states that permit the riding of mopeds without a valid drivers license state as long as the machine is 50 cc or less the only requirement is to wear a helmet. a call to you local law enforcement agency should provide you with the guidelines for your area.
