Hi, did you manage to find a solution to this issue? The mobile i got for my grandmother is doing the same thing, can i cannot find anything in the user guide? Thanks

File error, restore default

You may try default phone and security code to remove restrictions.
ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it
Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000

Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile.
send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code.
IF Problem not Solved So
Please New Software install in the Phone Problem will Solved

Micromax q3 mobile phone did not work key pad

If the keypad is not working you can remove the battery keep aside and check if the phone restores.If not the software must be reinstalled provided this might solve unless if has issues of the motherboard having errors. Contact micromax service

Smple script for graceful shutdown of Windows OS

a simple batch file could be used
------
down.bat
------
@echo off
IF "%1"=="" GOTO DEFAULT
IF "%1"=="a" Shutdown -a
GOTO END
Shutdown -r -t %1
GOTO END
:DEFAULT
Shutdown -r -t 30
:END
---------------
This batch file accepts the inputs as follows
"down.bat" This will shutdown in 30 secs and is default
"down.bat 120" This shuts down in 2 mins
"down.bat a" This aborts any shutdown operation.
