I recently lost my very beloved dog and I really want a charm or something to remember her by. Any ideas how I could do this?

Take the dog collar off and attach the charm to the collar ring that should be hanging from every collar. Then re-attach it to your dog. That way your dog won't get too stressed while you try and fit it on.

Unfortunately, you can take as many measures of precaution possible and you dog may still get fleas. Usually, dogs contract fleas from other animals; a stray dog/cat, raccoons, or other urban wildlife may have recently wandered through your backyard. Flea eggs were most likely left in your yard. They then developed into adult fleas which most likely jumped onto your dog.
