I have a 2004 Acura RL, navigation screen reads "check nav disc". How do I fix?

Your Navigation disc usually is in the CD player. Most require the First Disc to be the Navigation disc. Now if this disc was removed or if someone changed the position of #1 disc and inserted something else, then that is why you have your message.

It is also possible that removing the Battery from the car may cause it to lose the programming in the Navigation. It may simply need the Navigation disc to be reread.

How do i remove the radion on a 200 acura rl

You cann't remove only radio you have to remove whole panel which contains radio.

There are two possible scenarios for you car radio panel

1. Your car can have Navigator, Climate Controller and Radio.

2. Your car can have Climate Controller and Radio.

You have to open whole panel.

This Panel contains some of SRS components, so have to be very careful while removing it!

I have a 96 Acura RL, how do I access the radio? I have a short and it won't turn on.

Might not be a short try this: If you have jumped or replaced the battery at anytime this will happen. You have to get the serial number off the radio by removing it or partially taking it out to see the numbers on it try not to remove any cords. With the stereo out (to make sure you get the right number off of it) call an Acura dealership with the number and they will give you the another number to enter into the stereo and directions on how to punch the numbers in. Make sure while you have the stereo out you write the serial number down and keep it in a safe place also the number that the Acura dealership gives you because if you sell the car or if it happens again its easily accessible. Good Luck!

Battery on my 2002 acura rl was disconnected now the indash navigation system is asking for a code where or how can i find it please help

Sometimes the dealership will post the Navigation Code and the Radio code in the owner's manual. Others write the code on tape and then put the tape in the top of the glove box. If you can't locate the codes there you will need to stop and see the dealer and provide them with your vin number and they can look up the code for you. I don't think they will do it over the phone.

Hey guy i have a 2000 rl with the navigation system and one day my fuse on the radio blow so i replace it and then now my radio is asking for the code how can i found the serial number to the radio

The serial number may be on the back of the ash tray. Take that serial number and call Acura dealership - they will give you a code. I got a new battery and the same thing happened - needed a code. The serial number is on the back of the radio but the original owner was nice enough to put the sticker on the back of the ashtray. Some times, people put it on the inside lid of the fuse box.

2005 Acura TL Radio/Nav code

Your navigation code and radio codes writed on stikers on glovebox. Just open your glovebox and look on left side of gloivebox, not inside but outside. Open glovebox and look on left side. On my 2005 Acura RL NAV and Radio codes is different but it both on glove box. Sometime you even need to remove your glovebox cover to see those codes.
