SOURCE: Carburator change

I would get a new mechanic. In a carby, there is only a few things that move or wear out.At the most! you rebuild a carby. It is a lot cheaper than buying new carbs. If yours are an original carb and you have a problem,it's most likely a combination that the mechanic can't work out.I have a 83 carby Duke and an 99 efi. They are very easy to work on and Ducati do a lot of homework to get the bikes going well.Mate! get a second opinion.Hope this helps

Need to remove M600 front wheel, do I have to split the caliper to remove it, not enough room between rim and disc

The caliper slides off the rotor without having to take the caliper apart. It's usually held on with two bolts. Need to support the caliper from the chasis with something akin to a coat hanger to keep tension of the brake line.

Fuel System in Ducati DARK 600 Monster,

Strip and clean carbs, I had the same problem and that's how I fixed it. Take the carb to bits then soak all the bits in clean petrol (or prpsi believe it or not) for 1/2 an hour.
