Finding WEP key

Should be the number with (mac address) next to it 12 digits.

You can find your Belkin WEP key on its bottom or back side, Normally all other routers are coming without password, but belkin asks its physical address has its WEP password,
you can change it's password and SSID by login in through internet explorer, both the username and password of router can find on it's backside, then follow some easy steps to change SSID (wireless name) and wireless password (WEP) min 8 charectors,
please don't try to change your username and password provided by your Network provider if are not a professional, (connection may lost)

Hooking up to a 2wire is easy, on the back of the 2wire in the WEP number, (ten digit number). Turn on the Roku and on the settings menu look for the network setting, find your home network and put in the 10 digit WEP number and connect.

When you will make WEP key then you have to put this key on your pc first for connect to internet. It is very easy steps & your network will make secure.

First check your network option also.

Right click on your network then you see the property then go to security See dropdown menu If you have wep key then follow these steps if you did not see thi.

WPA is same as WEP

You need to sign in your router first.

1.open a web-browser such as Internet Explorer and enter the IP address of the router (192.168.0.1)

2. Select "Admin" from the drop-down menu and then enter your password. Leave the password blank by default.

Now you can see your D-LINK webpage where you find your wep key.

Clik setup then wireless setting
Now you see on this page

1. Wireless Security mode then drop-down-menu Set Enable WEP

2. Authentication - Choose Shared Key.

3. WEP Encryption - 64 Bit.

4. Key Type - HEX

5. Default WEP Key - WEP Key 1
6. Now Make a key( You can choose any password but remember only 10 charcters allowed)

7. Now Save setting. then your router gonna boot up make sure let it boot. It connected after 5 minute.

You should write your password in paper first then you will have to add this key into your pc. network.


You can not connect internet because you have to put these Key(password) into your pc first.


Go to your network connection in your pc Choose your network

You see two computer( internet icon) on the desktop
Right click then connect to network then you see so many network & your network ( Which you create).

Right click on your network then you see the property then go to security choose wep key then put the password(KEY).


WPA

1. Wireless Security mode then drop-down-menu - EnableWPA
2. Clipher type -TKIP
3. Passpharse - create own password here( don't put any personal info there)
Save setting
Device restart.


Now check Network status. Its working now.

Insert the printer software CD.
2. Windows Vista®: If you see the AutoPlay window, click Run Epsetup.exe.
When you see the User Account Control screen, click Continue.
Windows® XP: When you see the Software installation screen, continue with
step 3.
Mac OS® X: Double-click the icon.
3. Click Install.

1.Make sure that the printer is turned on.
2. When you see the FireWall Warning screen, click Next.
3.Make sure you connected the Ethernet cable

You have to enter WEP key which you used for computer synchronization.

Let me know the Router Model you are using..

follow this steps:

Option:1 - If setup with Bluetooth or Router with Mobile.

Just enter 12345

if it promts again in the computer there also enter 12345. use same key in all places when it prompts.

Option:2

If the setup as Router computer and Cellphone.

1.Open Router Configuration page by accessing default IP address mentioned on the router.

2.Go to Security or WEP tab. disable WEP.

or set WEP key

3.now enter the same Key for your nokia 9300i.

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND THE WEP KEY IN YOUR INTERNET CONNECTIONS. IF THERE IS NO WEP KEY, JUST CREATE ONE AND YOU SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO. THIS CONNECTION LINK HAS A TAB TO SHOW CHARACTERS IF THE KEY HAS BEEN ENTERED. YOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO REMEMBER IT, OR JUST CREATE A NEW CONNECTION WITH A NEW WEP KEY! THAT IS THE EASY WAY! what is your router? do you know the gateway of your router?

1. Know what is your gateway by using a pc that is online hardwire to your router
> On that pc- check your gateway by doing ipconfig- your DG is your gateway
2. Then access the configuration page of your router- ex. 192.168.1.1
> Use your browser and type your gateway there.
> It will ask for username and password. You should know that.
3. When your inside your router's configuration page-look for wireless tab, then look for wireless security- you should be able to see there your wep key.
4. Finally type in that wep key on your toshiba laptop. It might ask you to confirm, so type it twice. =)
