Can't Send Messages

When I try to send messages nothing happens, the text stays in the text box, I can receive messages, but can't send them.

    i cont see any msgs. wich i send and received through Yahoo messanger (Instant message)

    I am able to receive messages fine, but anything I send never shows up on my contacts screen. They say it says "typing a message", but nothing ever shows up.

    yahoo is working fine . but when i type and click send nothing does . the message retains in the box itself . please email me to rectify the problem

    I can not see any messages sent or received either but I know they were sent and others can see them. I can't see what they send me either. I have deleted and reinstalled my yahoo and my messenger numerous times. I cleaned my computer and defraged it. I tried everything and it still doesn't work. It started when I upgraded the messager and went back to old messenger and I still get same error message.. I called 3 days ago for assistance and still no solution. Getting to dislike Yahoo very much

    The thing happened to me when I downloaded a Java update. Everything is the same in Messenger, with the exception of the "chat-box" -- the most important part of Messenger, if you ask me.

I've already reinstall different versions of yahoo messenger and have followed the instructions to troubleshoot it but it still doesn't work.i been experiencing this problem almost one week already

    I downloaded the most recent version of windows live and cant send the message that i type.There is no send box.However i am able with my touchscreen,to hand write a mes and it will send. Crazy!!!! help

This yahoo messanger is turning out to be a big pain. have downloaded all versions and unistalled them in search of the solution for above mentioned problem..and still it doesnt work. wake up yahoo fellas...unless u have decided to wrap up ur messanger servies for good.

Help..

my yahoo messenger won't show any messages on the IM window. I can see what i am typing but not when i've sent it already. I can't also see the messages sent for me. Format Drive C:\

Install a new fresh Copy of ur operating system
&
then install yahoo messenger again...

its works
PROMISE.
i m not joking coz there is no answer of this problem on NET.

Hello. It's possible that your cellular service has not enabled your ability to send and receive text messages on their end..

Call your service provider on a different phone to let them know that you are not able to send or receive text messages in all the areas you've tried. Indicate how far away from each location that you are unable to get signal from. If you can not send or receive text messages anywhere at all, this should also be addressed. They may even walk you through resetting your APN settings

In some cases, it could just be the building that you are located in that is blocking cellular service.

Sometimes, it could be a fault of the service provider. They may need to reset your connection on their side. If not, at least you can get them to try..

It sounds like it is not the fault of your phone, but has to do with the Cellular Service Provider.

Whenever i text someone on my lg gw 520 and clicked send reply or w/e nothing would happen. The send button just blinked red for like 1/2 a second and nothing happened. Also sometimes whenever i get a text...
You need to delete any messages in your inbox and outbox and sent and draft messages and turn phone on and off

How can I use the messaging features on my Motorola phone? space.gif space.gif answer.gif To send a text message:
  • Enter your Message menu
  • Scroll to Create Message and Select

SMS unable to send messages
Just Try either of the following ....

  1. Try checking the SMSC (Message Center Number) number configured on your phone. If the Message Centre number is not configured or wrong then you will not be able to send..but you can receive.
  2. Check... is there any setting called Inbox Setup in Message menu, then Text msg Setup -> Use GPRS -> NO
