ebay is currently experimenting with a beta version of their site and are having obvious issues. They are not going to admit they are having a problem, but, they are having problems. Major changes have occurred at ebay in the past six months. Meg Whitman has retired as of Mar. '08. She was running the show for the past 10 years. The leadership doesn't seem to have a clue. Point of fact: Current ebay ceo and founder Pierre Omidyar in he's limited common sense, has now decreed that buyers must have a near perfect rating to bid on items, this is absurd. This is the kind of stuff that is deteriorating ebay. Yes, they are the biggest, however, if they don't right their ship they are going to lose millions of users and create an opening for a competing auction service to take over their market share, which is dwindling everyday. Patience is my only suggestion.

After chscking your login information, your User ID is not bigrose828. Go to the link below annd enter the email address you used to create the account and the system will send you your User ID and then you can enter your password.

For future reference, do not ever post your password on any site, even if you are requested to by anyone as this is now a security hole in your account and anyone who knows your information can login to your account and stel your personal information.

try to clear the cache and cookies of your computer.. there are times that the ebay page load so slow or not at all. you need to clear the cache and cookies of your computer if that happens.

Yes, you can still retract a bid but only if there are still more than 12 hours left before the listing ends, if there's less than 12 hours you can no longer retract the bid but you need to contact the seller so that the seller can cancel the bid for you.

here's how you can retract your bid;

1. log in to your ebay account then click the site map and then scroll down and click bid retractions under Buying Resources on the left side.
2. then enter the item number in the box where it says "Item number of auction in question" and choose the reason, you can enter wrong amount.
3. then just click the retract bid button below

if you are speaking about email address, you can only use the email address that you used to register your ebay account. you cant have 2 email address in one account.

if you are referring to the physical address, you can do so. you can have a billing address and a shipping address on ebay.

Use the global ebay service and select the country from the drop down at the top of page. http://global.ebay.com/

then reboot your computer

if this will not help, try to use another browser or use another computer to check if this is a problem in your computer or a site issue that eBay needs to fix. if using another browser or computer didn't help, it is best to contact eBay technical support so that they can check and fix your account.

On the right hand side of Ebay page you will see a sort by with a drop down list you might have to change it 2 times to get it to respond in the way you want it set soonest cheapest.

Above the drop down list in top right corner will be an Advanced tab where you can alter settings ending within hour ,postage nearest , items with in range .......
