My on off button is stuck down and i cant get it to come back up +my camera is vivicam 7020

In switches sometimes things break. Or springs break. It is a clear mechanical defect, but I don't think it is worth repairing this. Half an hour in the repair shop and it will cost you 100 dollar.

My vivitar 7020 on off button will not come back up i have tried everything help please

Perhaps some sticky substance was spilled on this part of your camera. Try cleaning with a q-tip moist with alcohol

My on off button is stuck down and i cant get it to come back up +my camera is vivicam 7020

The buttons are so close fitting the tiniest piece of dust or dirt could hold the button down. I have found the local phone repair shops to be extremely useful in the matters of small digital cameras.

Battery compartment won't close when batteries are in

Be sure to check that there is no debris under the batteries when you install them and make sure the metal connectors are free of any erosion, whether battery acid or general dirt. Also make sure the batteries are installed properly (sometimes it's the simplest thing, we've all done it) and the negative and positive are in the right position.

What flash would you recommend for the canon sx50 for around 70-$100?

In this price range you may find used Canon Speedlites like the 220EX or similar. I have found these to work on most EOS E-TTL cameras. As for new strobes you should consider the Bolt VS-260 for Canon. Also you may be able to get a Sunpak PZ42XC for just a little more than 100 or a Speedlite 90EX for under 70 (I use one on my EOS M).

My vivitar auto thyristor 550 FD wont turn on

If the corrosion was from alkaline batteries you may use a damp cloth. But before you do that, try using a wooden pencil with a red rubber eraser. This is likely to remove the corrosion without risk of introducing water inside the flash.

Can i use my vivitar 4600 with my nikon d300s?

Yes. You can use the flash in auto or manual mode by setting the camera to manual shutter speed within the x-sync range and then selecting the aperture prescribed by the flash guide number or the displayed automatic f-stop on the flash. The flash can provide auto exposure with the camera in manual mode, but you need to be aware of the amount of ambient light which will not cause any exposure corrections by the camera in this mode. Another alternative is to select Aperture preferred automatic on the camera and the f-stop shown for the auto flash settings. This will allow the camera to vary the shutter speed but may cause long exposures if the camera is not sensitive to real-time flash readings.

How t0 get a manual as I do not have a printer?

The site only provides PDF file. I'm not even sure Vivitar as a firm still exists. Even Amazon is only offering PDF files as far as I can see.

I have an vivitar vivicam s128 when I put my sd card in it says card protected what can I do

Sure you did not lock the card? The little notch should be in the up position as in the picture. Then the manual says you can use SD cards up to 32 Gbyte, but I can't find anything about the cameras compatibility with SDHC cards. So try the camera with a SD card. The used to make SD cards up to 4 Gbyte, but today, even 1 Gbyte cards are SDHC. 1- check Lock 2- Use SD card to see if your camera works with that. See a 4GB card, only SD, but not for sale anymore. 25340409-k1yyfchjsxnzfpw0twyoxddp-4-0.png 25340409-k1yyfchjsxnzfpw0twyoxddp-4-2.png
