On my new Viao laptop I have adobe acrobat 8 on it, but everytime I need to view an adobe document whether it be online or download one, it prompts me to enter the serial number to register it! The laptop did not come with any adobe stuff, can anyone give me a serial number?! I really need it. thnxs
** Note it is adobe 8 for vista, but fixya would not let me choose that as an option

When you install an Adobe Acrobat 8 or an Acrobat 9 application (for example, Adobe Reader, Acrobat Pro Extended, Acrobat Pro, Acrobat Standard, or Acrobat Professional), you are unable to click Accept or Deny in the Software License Agreement (sometimes called the End User License Agreement or EULA) dialog box.
This is a simple work around, but it worked for me. Create a new user and make that account the Administrator. Log in with the new account an then run Adobe and click Accept. Some reason this worked for me. Good Luck.

I've never had this message pop up and I don't want to install this package. How do I get it to go away and be normal again?????
The PDF document contains data in Japanese and needs the support package to display the correct Japanese characters. This is common with files on websites of Japanese companies even thought the document may contain English language also. You can simply cancel and then view the document English text but the Japanese text will not be displayed and you will see various garbage and blank spaces instead. Alternatively, you could simply install the support package. This will then enable Acrobat reader to correctly display Japanese characters. Note: you can also get a similar message if you access a document in Chinese which will then prompt you to install the Chinese support package!

I am getting the following error each time I open Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Professional... "An error has been detected with a required application library and the product cannot continue. Please reinstall the application." I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the program. It didn't help, got the same error shortly after opening the program. What is strange is that the problem just suddenly appeared therefore, I believe that it may have been malware related causing this problem. And I have had this program and have been using it without any problems now for over 3 years. It appears that a vital part of the program is being blocked. Can anyone please help and offer a detailed solution to this problem? Maybe someone has already encountered it. Thank you! -Dan Sacapano
Basically lot of people are getting errors with Acrobat 7 and older versions as Adobe has disabled the activation server for CS2 products, including Acrobat 7, because of a technical issue.
